Tartan is so HOJ!

I know you will think I'm crazy for wearing so little on Christmas Eve, but I think this is the perfect outfit for a festive night out without wrapping tinsel around your entire body.
Red is the obvious colour to wear at Christmas, so I thought I would wear my Fashion Union mini dress with this floor length, tartan jacket, from House of Jam!
You can find their products on Asos Marketplace. They have a huge vintage range and also their own products, which is what this jacket is from.
Although I've put this outfit together with the intention of wearing it out at night, with a pair of black tights, and perhaps with a chunky black or silver knit layered on top of the dress, you could also wear the outfit during the day!
I love the length and oversized fit of the HOJ jacket, I've been searching for a long coat for ages and being a lover of tartan, this piece is perfect for me.
The jacket also has two pockets, one on each sized to keep your hands a little warmer, and two oversized buttons if you want a more covered up look.
I was also gifted these biker boots from Style Edit a while ago and I've been waiting for the right outfit to come along to blog about them with. And I finally found it!
I love the silver buckles on the boots, although they are smart looking shoes, the detailing adds a bit of a more relaxed and edgy feel, which matches the tone that I was going for, for the entire outfit.
I think the shoes are great for going out as they have just a tiny heel which makes them smart enough for town but not overly dressy.
You can buy the boots for just £20.99 in the sale now! So be quick and get your hands on them ASAP! x
